Asian Star Radio is an established radio station since 2007. The station prides itself in a being a triple award winner ‘Station of the Year’ ‘Regional Station Of The Year’ ‘Local station Of The Year’ Broadcasting 24 hours a day, the station is available to listeners on its own Asian Star Radio Mobile Free App, on Alexa enabled devices, DAB+ across London, Manchester and Birmingham, On Line and on FM. Reaching thousands of listeners every week the stations strength is within its very strong programming content and great on air personalities presenting a variety of programmes. Asian Star Radio is a dedicated station to Asian music with the main genre of music being Bollywood and Bhangra.
Our radio isnt just about playing music it is also about keeping our listeners up dated with important local community news such funeral announcements, training and jobs opportunities, celebrating weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and young people passing their A level exams. From March 1999 we changed our name to Radio Asian Fever and started working towards being legalized by broadcasting on the Restricted Service License (RSL). Fever FM as now known delivered 9 RSL broadcasts, in October 2005 and against all odds we were awarded the full – time Community radio License by OFCOM. We broadcast programs in English, Urdu / Hindi, Punjabi, and Mirpuri. From our online service, we have built up a strong listener ship from other parts of UK and across the world.
