Originating in Second Life in 2009, HWR streams online and across many sims including FIrestorm and Whats Lost Spirits. Radio Home to DJ Trick Rembrandt and his Friday Dance Party Our Program Director/DJ, Patrick Rule, has 4 decades of music industry experience, including 8 years as a Broadcast DJ, 6 years as a Club DJ, and 15 years operating this station. From promoting Tracy Chapman’s debut record to Number One on College Radio, to tour managing Big Mountain and Robin Trower, “DJ Trick” has done just about everything in the music biz. He has an ear for talent and is always searching for Hit Indie Music. Our radio station launched on June 21st, 2009 as IRMG (Independent Radio for Multiplayer Games) and established a presence in the online virtual world of Second Life. IRMG was the first station to bring Indie Music in-world, and we continue to have a strong presence at the Firestorm Major Events area. Since the station’s inception, the listenership and programming have grown rapidly with fans from every continent. Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Zouk, Kompa are showcased on the station 24 hours in addition to "live" shows. The  mission of the station  is to spread positive “irie vibes” through the music and culture of the Caribbean.

We began in a small town in rural Minnesota with a big vision. We saw people around us who had no idea who God is. They have heard about Him, but they have never really met Him in a personal way. In 1995, God spoke to us about changing our format to reach people with worship music, scripture and stories of hope. Now – we are seeing the vision being fulfilled! People are worshiping all over the world.
