Diverse FM was originally founded in and served Luton as a local radio station, but has since developed to broadcasting throughout Bedfordshire and beyond, reaching all the way up to Northampton and as far south as Hemel Hempstead. Our fresh entertainment channel continues to be built around varied music, youth culture and local communities at its heart.
Our radio isnt just about playing music it is also about keeping our listeners up dated with important local community news such funeral announcements, training and jobs opportunities, celebrating weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and young people passing their A level exams. From March 1999 we changed our name to Radio Asian Fever and started working towards being legalized by broadcasting on the Restricted Service License (RSL). Fever FM as now known delivered 9 RSL broadcasts, in October 2005 and against all odds we were awarded the full – time Community radio License by OFCOM. We broadcast programs in English, Urdu / Hindi, Punjabi, and Mirpuri. From our online service, we have built up a strong listener ship from other parts of UK and across the world.
